Mead, James Glen “Nub”, 60, of Moundsville, died Friday, August 18, 2017, in Parkersburg as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born September 23, 1956, in Houston, Texas, the son of the late Raymond and Helen Mead.
He was an Ironworker for Local Teamsters #549, president of Brothers of the Wheel, Northern WV Chapter, a member of the American Legion, VFW, Moose Lodge and a Christian by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Mead, two sisters, Deanne Davis and Janet Mead.
Surviving are his wife, Dawn Ellen Boso Mead, a son, Carl D. Mead (Hallie) of Triadelphia, a daughter Cortney Rothermel (Ryan) of Houston, TX., three brothers, Floyd Mead (Shirley), Marvin Mead (Jane) and Donnie Mead all of Houston, TX., two grandchildren Shaye and Ciara Mead of Triadelphia.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 24, 2017, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 118 Grant Street, Moundsville where services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 11 am. Dawn I’m a so sorry for ur loss I’ve been trying to contact nub for two years but never got a response so I googled him and I am devastated ! It’s May 1st 2019 me and Angie are crushed by this news . So prayers to you. We would love to get together 740 632 5637
