Kathleen (Hugus) Polinski of Kingwood, WV

Born May 14, 1955 in Wheeling, WV,  Kathy is a former resident of Wheeling and McMechen.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Betty Hugus of McMechen, WV.

Kathy taught Catechism classes at St. James in McMechen during the early 1990’s.  She was a part-time employee of Reichart’s Furniture in Wheeling and Martins Ferry from 1971 to 1994.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Kevin Polinski, formerly of Belmont, OH and McMechen, WV.;  a daughter Mrs. Julia (Polinski) Nuce of South Carolina, 3 grandchildren;  a sister Debra (Dunn) Hugus of Bellaire;  a brother Mr. James (Diana) Hugus of St. Clairsville;  and a sister Mrs. Theresa (Steve) Huml of St. Clairsville;  several nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday August 3, 2018 from 2 – 8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street where services will be held on Saturday August 4, 2018 at 11 am.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

At Kathy’s request, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center , 1 Medical Center Drive, Morgantown, WV. 26506.
