Jody and Bettie Ann, I was so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. It has been a long time since I saw your mother last, but one memory of her always comes to mind when I think of her. Not sure if you remember how we used to set in front of your house and eat pickles out of the ar? Your mother would get so mad and say we were going to end up being a sour-puss if we didn’t stop eating so many of them. It is hard to lose your mother and best friend, but she is now with her family and your father. Just keep all those lovely memories of her in your heart, and she will never be far away. Sending you and your extended family my love and condolences.

Girls, I would like you to know what a blessing your mother was to me. After our mother passed away in California, Tommy and I came back to Wheeling to live with Aunt Alice. Your mom had a helping hand and an open heart to listen to me and my feelings. My thoughts and my prayers are with you all.
