ULLOM, Thelma B., 86, of Wheeling, W.Va. died Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital.

She was born October 21, 1930, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Matella) Reisinger. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elm Grove and was a Christian Mother at the former St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert C. Ullom Sr., infant son, Joseph Ullom, and two brothers, Robert and James Reisinger.

Surviving are her three children, Gilbert (Eileen) Ullom of Wheeling, Sandy Ullom of Wheeling, and Kathy (Willie) Merryman of Shadyside, Ohio; six grandchildren, Laura, Tim, Heidi, Heather, Todd, and Sara; five great grandchildren, T.J., Luke, Collin, Aaliyah, and Elijah; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling where a vigil service will be held at 4 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 10 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Msgr. Paul Hudock as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
