Pennie Norma Pashalis, 95, of Wheeling, passed away on April 15, 2022 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home of Wheeling, WV.

She was born on December 16, 1926 to the late Romeo and Rose (Barna) Collinvitti in Wheeling, WV.

Pennie worked for Ogden News and Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel.

She attended St. Joseph Academy and was a graduate of the College of Commerce in Wheeling, WV, where she obtained a Business Degree.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Pashalis, who passed away in 1999, brother, Donald Collinvitti, sister, Gloria Kiger, nephew, Chris Collinvitti, and her beloved Yorkshire Terrior, Petra.

Pennie Norma is survived by her sister: Doris Collinvitti of Wheeling, WV; nieces and nephews: Debbie (John) Shook of Moundsville, WV, Tommy Collinvitti of St. Louis, MO, Melanie Collinvitti of Martins Ferry, OH, great niece, Heather Shook of San Jose, CA, and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Altmeyer Funeral Home – 1400 Eoff Street Wheeling, WV 26003 from 10:30 am until 12:15 pm.

A chapel service at 12:30 noon at The Bishops Chapel Mount Calvary Cemetery – Wheeling, WV with Father Carlos Melocoton Jr. officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seeing Hand Association at
