Knuth, Adelaide M., 88 of Wheeling, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Wheeling Continuous Care, Wheeling.
She was born December 8, 1931 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lenora (Neidert) Knuth.
Adelaide was retired from Wheeling Hospital in the Dietary Dept., a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling and a member of the Ladies Guild at St. Alphonsus.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters Mary Knuth and Catherine “Kate” Krchmarsky; three brothers Charles, Herbert and Roland Knuth.
Surviving are a brother, Joseph Knuth of Wheeling, two nieces Mary Krchmarsky of Simpsonville, SC. and Suzanne Bailey (John) of Wheeling; three nephews Joseph and Charles Krchmarsky both of Wheeling and Mark Knuth (Judy) of Wheeling.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 9:30 am – 10:30 am at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling with Rev. Arul Anthony as Celebrant. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
