Andrew William “Drew” Haigh, 23, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on August 24, 2021 at his residence.
He was born May 3, 1998 in Kenosha Wisconsin.
Andrew was a full time creative writing student at Frederick Community College, avid gamer, loved to play Magic the Gathering, held World Records for League of Legends, an avid Star Wars fan and enjoyed creating with Lego. Additionally, he thoroughly enjoyed music of all types, especially his favorite band Slipknot.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Nancy Haigh and cousin, Abigail Haigh.
Surviving are his parents, Roger & Jennifer (Klenowski) Haigh of Frederick, MD; brother, Benjamin Haigh of Platteville, Wisconsin; paternal grandfather, Roger Haigh of San Lorenzo, CA; maternal grandparents, Janice (Jebbia) and Paul Klenowski of Wheeling, WV; uncles, Paul M. Klenowski of Davis, WV, Paul (Caroline) Haigh of Barre, Vermont and Daniel (Aimee) Haigh of San Lorenzo, CA and several cousins.
A celebration of life Mass will be held for Andrew on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10am at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, with Rev. Joseph Augustine serving as Celebrant.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this extremely difficult time. I only met Andrew a few times. It was Shirley who spoke so highly of Andrew so many times that let me know he was a very special young man. She would know what to say to you at this moment but I can only offer my prayers for you and ‘Drew” as words fail me. Please accept my sincere condolences. God bless.
