Anna Deloris “Doris” Northcraft, 83, passed away peacefully from life to eternal life on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
Doris was born on July 21, 1935 in Spring Hill, PA, to Glenn and Lucille Evans. She was a longtime resident of Bellaire, OH and Columbus, OH and most recently as a resident of the Bertha Welty apartments in Wheeling. She worked in the health care industry before retiring from the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. As a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Marble Cliff, OH, she worked tirelessly to raise funds for mission work.
She was the family matriarch. A dedicated wife to her husband, Quenton “Blake” Northcraft, Sr., who preceded her in death; a loving and caring mother to daughter, Linda (Jim) Dolfi; sons, Quenton (Cathy) and Brad (Jan) Northcraft and perhaps her greatest joy in life was to be “Mimi” to Gabe, Felicia, Blaine, Joel, Ross and Victor.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10:00am until time of services at 1:00pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
