Anne Helen Remick Wolodkin, 100, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at home.
She was born January 1, 1915 in Triadelphia, WV, a daughter of the late John and Mary Radovich Remick.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, John Wolodkin, two daughters, Eleanor W. Black, Marion (Robert) Ratcliffe, three brothers, John, Adolph and Joseph Remick, two sisters, Elizabeth Remick and Mary Remick Tominack.
Anne is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth A. Hawkins of Wheeling; one brother, Carl (Evelyn) Remick of Wheeling; seven grandchildren, Vicki Hawkins Burns of Columbus, OH; Karen Black Froble (John) Marano of Beckley, WV; Anne Black of Wheeling; Chris (Amy) Ratcliffe of Virginia Beach, VA; Cindy Kerns, Kit (Karen) Ratcliffe and John (Kathy) Ratcliffe all of Wheeling; a son-in-law, Robert Black of Wheeling; five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling, where Vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, with Rev. Thomas Gallagher as celebrant.
Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
