Anthony Clements Blatt, 80, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018.

Tony was born February 13, 1938, in Proctor, WV, a son of the late Edward and Christina (Weigand) Blatt. He was retired from the Kammer-Mitchell Power Plant, Moundsville, where he was a member of the Veteran’s Club; a U.S. Army veteran; and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Raymond Blatt; and two sisters, Dorothy Wilson and Monica Bonar.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Florence (Thomas) Blatt, whom he married November 25, 1961; two sons, Paul Edward Blatt and Anthony “Tony” (Kandy) Blatt, both of Moundsville; a grandson, Anthony “Corey” (Amanda) Blatt of Moundsville; a great-granddaughter, Autumn Blatt; a sister, Edna McCombs of Wheeling; and his dog, Jake.

Sending condolences to Tony’s family… I worked with him as his helper a few times during outages. So sorry to hear of his passing, may God comfort you.
