Barbara A. (Barr) Clark Carroll, 86, of Elm Grove, WV, died Thursday, February 08, 2018 at Wheeling Hospital. Born in Wheeling on April 13, 1931, Barbara was the daughter of the late Rolly C. and Marjorie Grant Barr. She was a former member of Bethlehem United Presbyterian Church and a longtime member of Elm Grove United Methodist Church. She was retired from Family Service of the Upper Ohio Valley where she worked for many years as a receptionist. In addition to her love for her family, Barbara enjoyed our family vacations at the Outer Banks, NC and the many cruises she took with her sister Janie.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, George W. Clark in 1981, her second husband Edward P. Carroll in 1986, her sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Carl Chaddock and her great niece Tori Williams.
Surviving are two sons, Reggie Clark and his wife Cindy of Elm Grove, Rick Clark and his wife Debbie of Warwood, five grandchildren, Wendy Weimer (Dave Patterson) of Bethlehem, Christine Clark (Sam Rice) of Elm Grove, Stacey Lucas and her husband Jeremiah of Warwood, Adam Clark (Meili Price) of Cincinnati OH and Carrie Taylor (Mike Sinatra) of Bridgeport OH. Four Great Grandchildren, Leah Weimer, Annajean Lucas, Jackson Lucas and Conner Patterson. Three nieces, Vicki (Gary) Harter, Becki (Jim) LaFlam and Tammi (Grant) Hickman. Several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street Elm Grove. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Monday, February 12, 2018, at Elm Grove United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jennifer J. Roller officiating.
