Betty Lou (Cook) Dellget Kerns, 88, of Moundsville, WV, passed away June 22, 2021 in Mound View Health Care, Moundsville, WV.

Betty was born September 28, 1932 in Lynn Camp, WV, a daughter of the late Jesse M. and Molly M (Colvin) Cook. She was a graduate of Moundsville High School; a retired manager for the former Young’s Cafeteria; and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville. She was also a member of the former Cherokee Hills Garden Club; and a 40-year member of the Early Bird Morning Bowling League.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Dellget; her second husband, Robert Kerns; a granddaughter, Olivia Dunfee; sisters, Gladys Petrelle, Beulah Reilley and Ila Crowe; and brothers, Kenneth and Donald Cook.

Betty is survived by her three children, Debra (Daniel) McManus of St. Louis, MO, Diane (T. Scott) Loy of Moundsville, WV and Donald (Michele) Dellget of Moundsville; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6-8 pm, Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am, Friday, June 25, 2021, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Rev. That Son Ngoc Nguyen as celebrant. Interment will follow in Valley Brook Memorial Gardens, Moundsville.
