Betty Mae (Suckle) Weckerley, 95, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.
She was born on December 26, 1926 in Wheeling WV, daughter of the late John H. and Katherine (Hutkay) Suckle.
Betty was a homemaker and a devoted member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, admire flowers, go to concerts, work puzzles and play Bingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Weckerley; brothers, Robert C. Suckle and John Beard; sister, Mary Martin and son-in-law, Randy Miller.
Surviving are her two daughters, Katherine Miller of Bethlehem, WV and Paula (Patrick) Dimmick of Hilliard, OH; son, Douglas Weckerley of PA; four grandchildren and great grandchildren, Keith (Melanie) Miller and their children, Clara and Henry of Bethlehem, Renee (Dan) Lennox and their children, Memphis and Lola of Bethlehem, Brady Dimmick and Leah Dimmick both of Hilliard.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 From 6-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Wheeling Chapel, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 1pm.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
Memorial Contributions made be made to the American Breast Cancer Association or to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
