Beulah Jean “Candy” Yoho Atwell, 75, passed away with family by her side Monday, October 4, 2021 at her sister’s residence.
She was born in Moundsville, February 17, 1946, a daughter of the late Clyde and Orie (Blake) Yoho. Candy enjoyed going to yard sales for many years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Willard Lee Atwell Sr. (2018); grandson. Stephen Berardi Jr; seven siblings, Westley Ray Yoho, Everett Eugene Yoho, Virgil Yoho, Roger Yoho, Charlote Edwards, Mae Wayt and Margaret “Pie” Conrad; three brothers-in-law, Eddy Atwell, Pat Edwards, Allan Wayt and four sisters-in-law, Linda Yoho, Geneva Yoho, Rosey Yoho and Helen Yoho
Candy is survived by her four children, Cathy (Steve) Berardi Sr. of Glen Easton, WV, Willard Atwell II and his fiancée, Mary Parker of Cameron, WV, Nicholas Atwell of Moundsville and Amanda (Chris) Thomas of Moundsville; three siblings, Jack Yoho, Catherine Atwell and Connie (Lawrence) Glover; sister-in-law, Nancy Yoho; nine grandchildren, Greg Berardi, Hunter Berardi, Bobbie Hall, Raelyn Atwell, Tosha Atwell, Denise Stratford, Amber Atwell, Willard Atwell III and Ayla Thomas; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., where services will be held Friday, October 8 at 11 am.
