Beverly Evelyn Hohnsee-McCollam, 79, of Wheeling, WV passed away on  September 20, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital. 

She was born on July 17, 1942 to John Otto and Evelyn (Bierkortte) Hohnsee at Wheeling, WV.

Prior to attending college, she worked as an LPN at Wheeling Hospital. 

Beverly attended WVU and obtained a Master’s Degree. 

Beverly worked as a Clerk for Wheeling Artisan Center. Beverly and Stephen lived in Wheeling, WV.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and an avid animal lover.

Beverly is survived by her loving spouse Stephen, Aunt Clara DiClemente of Martins Ferry, OH, many cousins, and close friends also survive. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home Elm Grove Chapel 154 Kruger Street Wheeling, WV 26003.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 12:00 noon at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Hudock as celebrant. 

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery Wheeling, WV. 

Memorials are suggested to the Ohio County Animal Shelter and American Lung Association at
