WHITLATCH, Carolyn J., 78, of Moundsville, WV, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Moundview Health Care.
She was born August 28, 1941 in Wetzel County, WV, a daughter of Goldie Longwell Oliver and the late Thomas Oliver.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linn Whitlatch in 1998.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Rick Whitlatch of Moundsville; two daughters, Virginia (Jack) Crow of Moundsville, and Donna (Jim) Wood of Moundsville; eight grandchildren, Charlie (Sylvia) Wood, Christina Lightner (Mark Moore), Crystal (Randy) Foster, Josh (Ginny) Wood, Andy (Ashley) Whitlatch, Lori (George) Huggins, Kelly (David) Evans, and Bruce “B.J.” Truex (Theresa White); twenty great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 4-9 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 1 pm with Rev. Ronald Wilfong officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery.
