Hibbs, Cecil “Calvin”, 91, of Wheeling died Thursday May 2, 2019 in Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

He was born June 11, 1927 in Grant Town, WV, one of ten children to the late John and Maria Hibbs.

Calvin was a retired manager for Famous Supply; a member of the Masonic Nelson Lodge #3:a member of the Scottish Rite 32 Degree; a member of the Shriners; a veteran U.S. Army Sergeant of the Korean War; a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mozart.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ida Neer Hibbs; seven brothers and sisters.

Surviving are a son Brad Hibbs (Elzbieta) of Cary, NC.,; a daughter Tracey Salvatori (Phil) of Wheeling; two sisters; four grandchildren Valentyna and Alex Hibbs, Jacinda Oberdick and Samantha Myles (Matt).

Family and friends will be received on Monday May 6, 2019 from 11:30 am until time of his service at 1:30 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling, with Pastor Joel Richter officiating. Interment to follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2 Richmond Ave., Wheeling WV., 26003.
