February 16, 1958 - January 21, 2020

Colin Cox, 61, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020, with his wife by his side, at Liza’s Place.

He was born February 16, 1958, in County Durham, England to Nancy (Wilby) Cox and the late George Cox. Colin worked as a Service Engineer with Joy Global, INC., now known as Komatsu Mining Group Corp., for several years. He was an avid golfer and his family and friends meant the world to him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, of 22 years, Barbra “Bob” L. (Hans) Cox of Glen Dale; one son, Liam (Chloe) Cox of England; three brothers, Steve (Linda) Cox, Terry (Elaine) Cox and Paul (Debbie) Cox all of England; his wife’s family and extended family in the United States, and many close friends and colleagues, in both the United States and England, including his “Golf Pack”.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 12 pm until time of services at 2 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 1400 Eoff St., with Mike Camden officiating. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
