David Brent Williams

November 17, 1949 - July 25, 2020

David B. Williams, 70, of Moundsville. WV, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born November 17, 1949 in GlenDale, WV, Dave was the son of the late Jack G. and Lorayne (Crowe) Williams.
After graduating from Moundsville High School in 1967, he enlisted in the US Army, where he earned the rank of Sergeant and served in Okinawa, as well as stateside. Dave worked at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel for 32 years before retiring in 2004 and was a member of the American Legion, Earl Francis Post # 3 and the VFW Post 437.
Surviving are his high school sweetheart and wife of 50 years, Joyce (Rickman) Williams; two daughters, Rachel Miller (Jason) of Valley Grove, WV and Lauren Bossers (Bill Morycz) of Pittsburgh, PA; three grandsons, Cade Miller, Reed Miller and Adam Bossers.
He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever reside in a joyful place in the hearts of all who loved him.
Dave’s family would like to express gratitude to Dr, Nabiel Alkhouri and the staff at the WVU Cancer Institution at Reynolds Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care. To help ensure the health and safety of family and friends, there will be no visitation or service at this time,
