David E. Hill, 71, of Moundsville, WV, died Friday, February 22, 2019 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 19, 1947 in Glen Dale, WV, a son of the late Leroy and Wyanona Stockham Hill.
David was retired from PPG Industries, was a member of the Waymans Ridge United Methodist Church, VFW of Moundsville and was an Air Force veteran.
David is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Viola Martin Hill, 2 children; David Leroy Hill and his wife Joanie, of McMechen, Jena Lee Richards and her husband Ed, of Moundsville, 2 brothers; Charles Hill and his wife Wanda, of Moundsville, and Sherald Lee Hill and his wife Marge, of N.C., along with 4 grandchildren; Alexander Hill, Savannah and Mikey Richards, and Nicole Wilson.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes and Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11:00am with Rev. Ray Klages officiating.
Burial will follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, with full military honors to be given by the Moundsville Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to Waymans Ridge Church.

I am saddened to hear of Dave passing .Our condolences go out to Jeannie and his children and grand children. He was such a good man with a great big heart. He will be truly be missed by many. Rest in peace Dave.
