BAKER, Delbert L., 73, of Moundsville, W.Va., died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born September 27, 1945 in Marshall County, W.Va., a son of the late Elmer and Elizabeth Baker. He was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church in Moundsville and a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. He was a member of the American Legion post 3 in Moundsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Carla Ralbusky, two sisters, Joann Baker and Helen Marling, and one brother, Kye Baker.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Mason Baker; two step-children, Eric (Nicole) Snodgrass, and Angela (Brandon) Daily; two sisters, Eileen (Richard) Tyler and Mary (James) Cook; son-in-law, Scott Ralbusky; one granddaughter, Katie Ralbusky; and several other step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, including Garry Alan Pegg.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 for a memorial gathering from 12 pm until time of memorial service at 1 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, W. Va. with Rev. Ray Klages officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
