Diane Alayne Lautar Siburt Daves, 73, died Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Mound View Nursing Home.

She was born September 16, 1947, daughter of the late Jack and Opal “Pat” Stewart Lautar in Glen Dale, Wv.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles “Chub” Siburt (Korean Navy Veteran) and second husband Howard Daves (US Marine Corp-Vietnam Veteran / POW).

She was a former proof-reader at the Wheeling News Register. Diane worked at Wheeling Hospital in Continuous Care and drove the D.A.V. van to Pittsburgh. She was a lifetime member and past-president of the Legion Auxiliary and an avid supporter of the U.S. Military and POW/MIA.

She is survived by her brother, Michael (Joy) Lautar and her sister, Sharon (Dana) Garten both of Moundsville; three step-children and several nieces and nepehws.

There will be no visitation. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
