Doris Jane (Gable) Pavilkey, 84, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Thursday March 29, 2018 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, GlenDale, WV.

She was born January 8, 1934, in Moundsville, a daughter to the late Marry M. & Ethel (Reynolds) Gable.

She was a 1952 graduate of Moundsville High School, member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Moundsville, former employee of Yanen’s Ford Dealership, a homemaker. She enjoyed oil painting, skating, swimming and shopping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Pavilkey in 2007.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Susan A. Pavilkey of Worthington, OH; two sons, Joseph E. Pavilkey and Michael Lee Pavilkey both of Moundsville; granddaughter, Kelly Marie Games of Worthington, OH; three nieces, Sally (William) Vargo, Cathy and Donna and a nephew Danny.

Friends will be received Monday, April2, 2018 from 10am until time of service at 1pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, with Rev. That Son Ngoc Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard, WV.
