Dorothy Ann (Wiethe) Coss, 93, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.
Dorothy was born July 1, 1925 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Bernard Paul and Grace Ellen (Garrity) Wiethe.
She was retired from Imperial Display of Wheeling, member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, loved to do her crafts, and volunteered for over fifteen years at Wheeling Hospital.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John M. Coss Sr., and sister, Elinor McLaughlin.
Surviving are her four children, David L. (Hilda) Coss of Kennesaw, GA, John M. Coss Jr. of Columbus, OH, Susan E. Glenz of Wheeling and Terri Lynn (Jeff) Cooper of Columbus; 4 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and numerous extended family members
Friends will be received from 2-5 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 9:30 am at Good Shepherd Nursing Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cabrita serving as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
