Beings we were girls, Ernie was our first guy friend at the Shadyside pool. He was so much fun to play with. As we got older, I knew him at the loop as a good friend to talk to. He was fun, personable, and pleasant company. I never knew him as anyone other than a sweet and caring person.
We just wanted to let you know what a great guy we thought Ernie was, he made us laugh and was always so fun and nice when he came to our store for work. Our deepest condolences on your loss and we will miss him very much.
I’ve known Ernie for many years and there was never a time I didn’t see him with a smile on his face. Very sorry to hear of his passing.
