Eva Arlene Coulter

February 24, 1955 - January 25, 2019

Eva Arlene Coulter, 63, of Proctor, WV, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

She was born February 24, 1955, a daughter of the late Myrl and Opal (Rutan) Wood. Eva attended Moundsville Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, puzzles and arts and crafts of all kinds.

In addition to her parents, Eva is preceded in death by her loving husband, Douglas Wesley Coulter Sr. (2014) and four siblings, Robert M. Wood, Joseph B. Wood, Connie (Wood) Young and Sylvia (Wood) Dunlap.

Eva is survived by her two sons, Doug (Michelle Switzer) Coulter of Moundsville, and James (Sondra) Coulter of Proctor; seven siblings, Eulelah Riddle of Arizona, Melvin Wood of Moundsville, Norman (Juanita Workman) Wood of Wheeling, Vera Applegarth of Moundsville, Donna (Bobby) Riggs of Texas, Everett “Sam” Wood of Glen Easton, WV and Joan (Mark) Cunningham of Moundsville; one grandchild, three step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 2-4 and 6 until time of service at 7:30 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, WV, with Pastor John Keener officiating.
