Evelyn Leota (Rutan) McClintock, 96, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021.

Evelyn was born August 12, 1925, in Marshall County, a daughter of the late Dock and Eva A. (Postlewait) Rutan.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Leroy McClintock; a son, Leroy McClintock; sisters, Mary Vanscyoc, Olive Ritchie, Opal Wood, Audrey Lyle and Thelma Rush; brothers, Glen, Clem, Gerald, Ray, Dale and Wayne Rutan; and grandsons, Donnie & Bobby McClintock.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter-in-law, Arlene McClintock of Satsuma FL; brother, Lloyd Rutan of Moundsville; grandsons, Larry McClintock of Glen Dale, WV and Wayne McClintock of Satsuma, FL; eight great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and special friends, Christina Allman of Fairmont, WV and William White of Moundsville.

Friends will be received at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 10 am until time of service at 1 pm. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
