Bosold, George Edward, 94, of Wheeling, died Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital

He was born May 30, 1925 in Wheeling, the son of the late Fred and Marie Gillingham Bosold.

George was a Postal Inspector before retiring as Postmaster for the Moundsville Post Office; a U S Army veteran of WWII; a member of Knights of Columbus, Cave Club and the former Kain Club.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Abraham Bosold, his second wife Margaret Camilletti Bosold; a sister Kathleen Peoples; three brothers John Bosold, Pete Bosold and Jimmy Bosold.

Surviving are a son Mark Bosold (Rita) of Winnsboro, TX, two grandchildren Sarah Reynolds (Chris) and Christian Bosold all of Texas;  a great-grandson Benjamin Miller Reynolds of Texas; his step children Paul (Terry) Camillettti, Michael Camilletti, David Camilletti, Stephen (Lisa) Camilletti, Joseph Camilletti, Mark (Jill) Camilletti, Pamela (John) Miller and Catherine Camilletti (Paul Betz); numerous step grandchild, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 2 – 4 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 10 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling with Rev. Arul Anthony as celebrant .Interment will be private at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN., 38105.
