Harland R. Bennett Sr., 77, of St. Clairsville, OH, formerly of Moundsville, WV passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his residence.
He was born January 01, 1938, in Moundsville, a son to the late Harland and Mamie (Ashby) Bennett. He was a retired coal miner for Valley Camp Coal Company and Massey Energy, loved to work with wood and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; sister, Connie Joseph and brother, Larry Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Neva (Crow) Bennett of St. Clairsville; son, Rick Bennett of McMechen, WV; daughter, Vicky of Myrtle Beach, SC; step-daughter, Anna (Ralph) Fazenbaker of Myersdale, PA; step-son, Stuart Przelenski of St. Clairsville; two brothers, Bill (Mildred) Bennett and Kenny Paul Bennett both of Moundsville; six grandchildren, Tim, Kris, Kayla, Ali, Nick and Colby and his babies, Lucey and Emme.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
