Hazel Florence (Coe) Goodnight, 84, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Stonerise Moundsville in Moundsville, WV
She was born October 2, 1937 in Glen Easton, WV, daughter of the late Lee & Essie (Amos) Coe.
Hazel, also known as Mam, was a Baptist by faith and a homemaker who loved spending time with her family, loved ones and friends.
in addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Herman and Harold Coe and sister, Nellie Millhouse.
Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years, Franklin Leroy Goodnight of Moundsville; daughter Connie (Frank) Kimble of Moundsville; son, Barry Dean (Tracey) Goodnight of Washington Lands, granddaughters, Tawnya (Russ) Hall of Glen Dale, WV and Jennifer Goodnight; grandsons, Franklin (Tammy) Kimble II of Moundsville, Daniel Goodnight and Jonathan Goodnight; Hazel’s first great grandchild and pride and joy, Mackenzie Hall of Glen Dale, WV and several other great grandchildren; sisters, Darla Radar of Wheeling, Jeannie Tschappett of Wheeling and brother, Raymond (Andrea) Coe of Martins Ferry, OH;
Friends will be received on Monday, November 22, 2021 from noon-2pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville.
Graveside rites will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
