This comes to the entire Boury family in the recent passing of your dear mother Jackie. As a neighbor of hers for almost 20 years, I had the pleasure on a few occasions to converse with Jackie and to hear her talk so proudly about her children and the life that she and your father Ellis enjoyed together. I specifically remember inviting her to an event here at my home and the note she sent in reply was one that I treasured for many years. She was so complimentary and genuine in her words.
All of you took such great care of her and for that you will always find great peace knowing that you did all you could to help her maintain her lifestyle in your beautiful home. I have met many of you over the years and know how dedicated you were to her and to each other. My heart is heavy for all of you as you deal with her loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Ms. Jackie was a gracious lady in every way. Offbeat sense of humor? She showed up one year at an Elby’s employee party at Wilson Lodge wearing a top that read “Eat at Joe’s” and was the belle of the ball.

You have touched more people than you could possibly know. Your daughter at the VA is a kind and amazing person, who has been with me at the VA through the darkest period of my life. Without you, your daughter would not be the amazing person she is, who helps others so very much. Thank you for your contributions to making my life better, for making humanity a better place.

So many fun memories from Oak Park childhood with the Boury family!! Thanks to them, we had plenty of kids for two teams in kickball, etc❤️
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was an incredible woman with love enough to go around the whole neighborhood, and always welcomed kids into her home to play, have a snack, etc. Jody, I’m here if you’d like to reach out. I always asked your dad about you when I saw him at my husband’s animal hospital. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Boury family, especially Janis and Jeannie, my condolences on Jackie’s passing. (Jeannie and I were classmates at the Mount, and my sister Ginger was a classmate of Janis’s.) I know it is hard to lose a loved one, no matter what age. Prayers for her and you all.

I enjoyed watching the video. It was great to share in the memories with her and Uncle Ellis. In the pictures, she often seemed to have a swarm of kids surrounding her. That’s amazing that she raised 9 kids! She had a wonderful smile. 🙂
Sending our deepest sympathies from Boston.

I’m sorry I can’t be there to share my personal condolences to my cousins with whom we’ve drifted apart through the years. We had a family reunion a few years ago and Dee Dee and Kevin were able to bring Aunt Jackie to the event. Although she didn’t recognize us, she smiled all afternoon realizing she was with family. What an amazing strong woman she was and able to live in her home until the last few months. The video was amazing and brought back so many happy memories. My thoughts and prayers with all of you. RIP dear Aunt Jackie. Love, Nancy Padden
