James Edward Lee III, 77, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at home.

He was born June 29, 1942, a son of the late James and Katherine (Johnson) Lee II. James was an extremely gifted pianist.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Fred Lee; close friend, Donald Stoetzer and lifelong friend, Walter McKinney.

James is survived by his half-sister, Danielle Primas of Las Angeles, CA; many friends and family at REM, both past and present and his dog, Waffles.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville. Where funeral services will be held Thursday, December 5, at 10 am. Interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
