Jody M. Harrison passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the age of 48. Jody was of Bellevue, Pennsylvania, formerly of Benwood, West Virginia. Son of Ronald L. (Carol) Harrison and the late Angela Rose (Ostrander) Harrison; grandson of Jess B. and the late Jacqueline Ostrander. Jody is also survived by his children, Aidan, Jake, and Allie Harrison, and their mother, Amanda; brothers, Brian (Rhonda Clark), Jeremy (Susan), and Jesse (Sharless) Harrison; aunts and uncles, including special aunt, Melissa (Ostrander) Sadlowski; and by nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Jody was a veteran of the US Army and was a beloved softball and football coach who dedicated many years as not only a coach, but a mentor to his children and community. Family and friends received Saturday from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 460 Lincoln Avenue, Bellevue, where Funeral Service will be held following visitation at 8:00 pm. Additional visitation to held Sunday from 12:00-2:00 pm and 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes Benwood – McMechen Chapel, West Virginia. Burial with military honors at Salem Cemetery, Glen Easton, WV will be private.
