John Charles Pollock, 63, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 3, 1954, the son of Charles and Veronica (Silver) Pollock. John was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a devote Catholic. In addition to the church he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Father Flanigan Council 1907 Assembly of the 4th degree and IBEW Local Union 141. He was a retired Industrial electrician and enjoyed going to the shooting range.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his sister, Theresa “Terri Ann” Pollock.

John is survived by several cousins and many friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 912 Seventh St., with Fr. That Son Ngoc Nguyen officiating.

I am so sorry to hear about John’s passing and only recently heard this. I no longer live in the area but join everyone here in expressing sadness in John’s absence

Prayers to the Pollock Family in this time of need. I knew John from his many years at Mobay-Miles-Bayer. He was a stand-up and a classy guy. You will be sadly missed by your family, friends, and your community. R.I.P my friend

So sorry to hear about John. Another example how TIME waits for no one. I know he’ll be missed and remembered by everyone who knew him. Moundsville and St Francis lost a good one.
