Joseph P. Lysicki Jr.

October 7, 1934 - January 17, 2020

Joseph Paul “Joe” “Junior” Lysicki Jr., 85, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital.

Joe was born October 7, 1934, a son of the late Joseph Lysicki Sr. and Ida (Ruskowski) Ferri. He enjoyed fishing, old western movies and tinkering with electronics.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Lysicki and brother-in-law, Charles Milligan.

Joe is survived by his two sisters, Barbara Milligan of Wheeling and Marian Fontana of Washington, PA; three nieces, Kim (Frank) Polsinelli of WV, Lisa (Gerry) Deehan of FL and Tracy Terrian of MI; one nephew, Rick Milligan of OH; four great-nieces and great-nephews, Nick Polsinelli and Baillie, Carson and Dylan Terrian, as well as his extended family at REM, caregivers and staff.

Family and friends will be received Monday, January 27, 2020, from 12 pm until time of celebration of life at 12:30 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger St., with Pastor Paul Schafer officiating. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe’s name to the donor’s choice.
