Judith Lee “Judi” Padlow, 75, of McMechen, WV, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020, with her family around her, in WVU Hospice, Morgantown, WV.

She was born November 20, 1944, a daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Logston) Hossman. Judi was a member of the McMechen Methodist Church, owner and operator of The Gathering Room and served as a Chairwoman for Padlow INC. She was an avid WVU Mountaineer fan. Above everything else, Judi loved her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her birth mother, Inez Fontenot Stokes; her loving husband, Francis G. “Jerry” Padlow (2016); two brothers, Jack Hossman and Doug Fontenot and daughter-in-law, Lori Padlow.

Judi is survived by three sons, Troy (Tina) Padlow of Glen Dale, WV, Brent Padlow and Jason (Elizabeth) Padlow both of McMechen; one daughter, Jera (Matt) Kanicki of Ashtabula, OH; two brothers, Jim Hossman of McMechen and George Fontenot of Rock Port, TX; one sister, Donna Welch of Morgan City, LA; nine grandchildren, Brittany (Chris) Taylor of Wheeling, Tori (Donnie) Gilbert of Morgantown, Chase Padlow of McMechen; Jesse Padlow of McMechen, Morgan Padlow of Jacksonville, FL and Addie Padlow of McMechen, Mylan, Matea and Makade Kanicki all of Ashtabula; five great-grandchildren, Braelynn Taylor, Bennett Taylor, Ainsley Gilbert,  Ace Gilbert and Juddah Owen; her life-long friend, Sandy Sperling  and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at McMechen Cemetery at 3:30pm.
