Judith Mae "Judy" Sebroski

October 20, 1943 - July 21, 2019

Judith Mae (McMillan) Sebroski passed away while surrounded by her family at the Washington PA Hospital on July 21, 2019 due to complications following a stroke. She was 75.

Judy was born on October 20, 1943 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Vaughan and the late Robert McMillan. She was the step daughter of the late Emmett McGreal and the late Orville Vaughan. She was happily married for 56 years to John J. Sebroski with four children and nine grandchildren. She graduated from Wheeling High School (1961) and West Virginia Northern Community College (1983). She was a retired registered nurse.

Judy is survived by her husband, John J. Sebroski of Shadyside, OH; son and daughter-in-law, John and Christina Sebroski of Monaca, PA; her son, Michael Sebroski of Bellaire, OH; her daughter and son-in-law Amy and Michael Roupe of Moundsville, WV; her son and daughter-in-law James and Kelly Sebroski of Moundsville, WV; and her grandchildren, Chad Sebroski, Megan Sebroski, Levi Sebroski, Samuel Sebroski, Daniel (Junior) Cheatham, Kayla Roupe, Owen Roupe, Miranda Sebroski, and Bailey Sebroski. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Norma Weide.

Judy and her husband attended the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church, Shadyside, OH. She loved family get togethers, her pets, traveling, shopping, decorating, cooking, flowers and going to the movies. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Friday, July 26, 2019 from 10 to 11 am at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, July 26, 2019, with Rev. Seth Filburn officiating.  Interment will follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, 4987 Co. Hwy. 88/15 Sherrard, WV.

Afterwards, all friends and family are invited to celebrate Judy’s life at the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church, 3838 Lincoln Ave, Shadyside, OH.
