Kenneth Alan Hart, 72, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born on November 11, 1947 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Wilfred William and Rosalia (Mojzer) Hart.
Kenneth worked at the Wheeling Newspaper, WV Northern Community College and Touchstone Research Lab, where he retired as a Technician, he also was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Glen Dale, member of the Sportscar Club of America, a US Army Veteran and loved spending time with his grandchildren and racing cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four siblings, John Mojzer, Shirley McCann, William Hart and George Hart.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Diana (Yusko) Hart of Glen Dale; two daughters, Valleri (Brian) Gordon and Michelle (Dave) Romanek all of Wheeling; five grandchildren, Kara, Alex and Zac Gordon and Dorothy and Spencer Romanek and sister, Rose “Cookie” Gast of Trinity, NC.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, March11, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, Glen Dale on March 12th at 11am with Rev. Martin Smay serving as Celebrant.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
