Larry Allen Blake, 63, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
He was born in Glen Dale, WV on December 29, 1956, son of the late Roy & Georgia (Church) Blake.
Larry was one of the founding members of the Marshall County Rescue Squad and a member of the Washington Lands Fire Department.
in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Janice Blake; sister, Rose Lee Kimberly; brothers, Richard, Loye and Howard Blake.
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Theresa (Kudlak) Blake of Moundsville; son, Michael (Renae) Blake of Moundsville; sister, Erma (Don) Gray of Moundsville; two grandchildren, Jayden and Kasyn Blake, several special children that he considered his grandchildren, Ace, Aisha, Jensen “Gypsun”, Amara, Zailey, Kash, Kesha, King, Halleigh, Roman, Kobe and Holden & several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday, August 30 2020 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville from 2pm until time of service at 4 pm with Pastor Eric Parsons officiating.
