Lois Cox Drum, 95, of Spartanburg, SC formerly of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday June 12, 2022.

She was born March 17, 1927 to the late James and Olive (Crouch) Cox in Wellsburg, WV.

Lois was a former employee of Bethany College where she worked as an accountant. She was a Disciple of Christ by faith, and member of Wheeling First Christian Church (DOC) where she sang in the choir and served on various committees. She was also an active member of the musical communities of both Bethany and Wheeling, having served as a soloist at the First Presbyterian Church for fifteen (15) years and a thirteen (13) year member of a quartet for the High Holy Days at Eoff Street Temple (Temple Shalom). Lois was also a past president of the Thursday Music Club and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bethany Chapter #64.

In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James D. Drum and her sister, Evelyn Cox Nolte.

Left to cherish her memory and celebrate her life is her devoted son, Dr. David J. V. (Michelle) Drum of Campobello, SC.

Friends and family will gather Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 10:00am until 12:00 noon at Wheeling First Christian Church 1343 National Road Wheeling, WV funeral service will follow with Rev. Kenny Hardway officiating.
