Louise Ann Conner, 79, of Glen Easton, WV, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
She was born May 19, 1939, a daughter of the late Grandville “Roy” and Julia Ann DeLong Shuman. Louise was a Methodist by faith. Her world revolved around caring for her family and was an avid gardener.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Conner II (2017) and seven siblings, Ralph, Beyrl, Juanita, Irvin and Dale Shuman, Loretta Garrett and Emma Odom.
Louise is survived by her loving husband, of 59 years, Ronald Conner Sr.; two daughters, Starlene Starling of Westerville, Ohio and Michelle Gump of Glen Easton; one brother, Denver Shuman of Nicholasville, KY; eight grandchildren, Kyle Chambers, Rebecca Keener, Michael Chambers, Tyler Starling, Jarrett Gump, Kaden Gump, Ronald Conner III and Kyle Conner; two great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Hoyt Chambers and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, with Rev. April Forkey officiating. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery.
