McNeil, Malcolm F., 81, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born June 21, 1937, in Wheeling, a son of the late Alice Dugan McNeil Forrester and Joseph Forrester. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and retired from Wheeling Hospital. He was also a member of the UPMC Community Advisory Board and the Fort Henry Peacemakers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, William Ellis, two brothers, Tom McNeil and Frank McNeil, and one sister, Patty McNeil Jacovetty.
He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Ellis McNeil; mother-in-law, Sydnie Ellis; two brothers, Jim (Sue) McNeil of Gambrills, Md., and Joe (Sue) Forrester of Wheeling; one sister, Mary Lou Rine of Wheeling; three sisters-in-law, Nora (Ron) Black, Rosalie McNeil, and Susan (Dave) Stewart; one brother-in-law, Bill (Cindi) Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 1-3 & 6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling, with Rev. Arul Anthony as celebrant. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
