Marilou Sorg Drosieko, 88, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born December 15, 1930, the daughter of the late Eugene and Catherine (Mahoney) Sorg.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph J. Drosieko; an infant son, Timothy Drosieko; a granddaughter, Christy Anne Dolan and her brother, Richard “Dick” (Nan) Sorg.

Marilou is survived by her children, Michael Lee (Patty) Drosieko of Easley, SC, Jay J. (Mandy) Drosieko of Pawley’s Island, SC, Judy Dolan of Colorado Springs, CO and Terri of Oldsmar, Florida; six grandchildren, Lindsay (Owen) Tomlinson of Anderson, SC, Chad (Krista) Drosieko of Eustis, FL, Randi K. Dolan of Colorado Springs, Ryan Dolan of Old Hickory, TN, Kate and Mary M. Drosieko of Pawley’s Island and Cory of Oldsmar, FL; great-grandchildren, Makenna, Reagan and Miles Dolan, Anders and Axl Tomlinson and Ansley Drosieko; five very special nieces, Stacy (Joe) Sterphone, Cathy (Scott) Dallas, Teressa Hoskinson, Jennifer Sorg and especially Lori (Shaun) Jones, who was so caring and wonderful to her and two nephews, Jeff and Rick Sorg.

Marilou is also survived by many lifelong friends, who played a vital part in her life, she dearly loved them all. She especially loved going to lunch and playing cards with the “Chosen Few” every week.

Family and friends will be received Sunday June 2, 2019 from 4-8 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 1400 Eoff Street.  A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, June 3, at 10 am at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with Monsignor Coyne as celebrant. Entombment will be held at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
