Mark Stephen Duggan, 66, passed away on September 3, 2019.
He was born in Wheeling, on October 28, 1952.  Mark was preceded in death by his father, John A. Duggan; and his mother, Anne Duggan. He is survived by brothers, Jonathan (wife Nora) and James (wife Wendy) Duggan; and many cousins.
Mark suffered from mental handicap and epilepsy all his life.  However, he led as full a life as possible due to the tireless efforts of his mother and father.  He grew up on the family farm in Triadelphia and shared in farm chores including taking in hay and spitting logs.  Mark also attended all the meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Wheeling, right up until August 2019.  Mark was known for his smile and willingness to shake hands with everyone he met.
The family would like to recognize the good care Mark received from his doctors including James Comerci, Tracy Weimer and Mario Cej.  Also, Mark was supported by his good friend and caregiver, Larry Cook, as well as the capable and caring staff of Russell Nesbitt Services, including Teresa, Lori, Chuck, Cierra, Shawna, Chace, Aubrey, Tim, Kerry, Mark and Devon.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 3:30 p.m., 2090 Angle Ave (Elm Grove), Wheeling, William Johns presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mark Duggan may be sent to Russell Nesbitt Services, 431 Fulton Street, Wheeling, WV, 26003.
