TICE, Marlene G., 79, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born September 13, 1940, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Anthony and Una Unfried Longowski. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Wheeling and retired from Jebbia’s Market.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Una Gilson.

She is survived by her husband, Charles “Fred” Tice; two daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Jarrett of Wheeling and Tammy (Buck) Droginske of Wheeling; five grandchildren, Nicole (Aaron) Simmons, Tyler Droginske, Jonathan Droginske, Joel Jarrett, and Adam Jarrett; great grandson, Hayden Jones; and two nieces, Becky Bugaj and Sheri Imer.

Marlene’s family wishes to extend their sincerest appreciation to Dr. Michael Wayt, a wonderful friend and Doctor.

At Marlene’s request, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Augustine as celebrant. 20 seats are available at church. Please contact Our Lady of Peace Church parish office at (304) 242-6579 to reserve a spot.
