Marva Valaida Howard

HOWARD, Marva V., 82, of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, July 19, 2020 in Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born December 8, 1937, in Power, WV, a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Viola Finney Terrell. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Wheeling and retired from Marriot Food Service at Wheeling Jesuit University. She was also a member of the Elks Temple #125 and the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 89.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Howard, two brothers, Harold Terrell and Bernard Terrell,  daughter, Denise Webb and grandson, Deon Webb.
She is survived by four sons, Rodney Webb of Pittsburgh, Pa., James Webb (Betty Hindman) of Wheeling, Thomas Leigh of Wheeling, Clifford (Kelly) Howard of Wheeling; one daughter, Carla Daniels of Wheeling; one sister Alma Terrell of Atlanta, Ga.; twenty seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 4-8 pm, and on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 10 am until time of service at 11 am at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, with Rev. Dr. Melvin Rippy officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
