Mary Alice Jura, 78, of Moundsvill, WV, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

She was born March 22, 1942, a daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Kraytle) Jura. Mary was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was in the first graduating class at Bishop Donohue and a graduate of West Liberty. Mary was a registered nurse and an avid reader.

Mary is survived by her four siblings, Caroline (Edward) Skocik of Bridgeport, OH, Carl (Barbara) Jura of Columbus, OH, John (Kathy) Jura of Glen Dale, WV and Elizabeth (James) Webster of Moundsville, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, February 6, 2021, from 10 – 10:45 am at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Lutes & Kirby – Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, February 6 at 11 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Interment will be at McMechen Cemetery.
