Barbara, I wish to offer my sincere condolences in the passing of your mother. She was a delight as I chatted with her many times in the nursing home while distributing Holy Communion to her. I am truly sorry for you loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your Mom (and Dad) was a class act. I have so many wonderful memories of our times at Glen Dale Elementary. I still have “Jack McKee Days” Your Mom told about your Dad telling her “get up … get dressed .. you’ll feel better!” I got myself to school many days on that …but it never really worked. The times I went home to visit, the Glen Dale gang would gather and go visit your Mom. What fun times those were. She always had a smile and positive thoughts … I am sure she’ll be missed by all of us but a wonderful new journey has begun .. and I know she was ready to be reunited with Jack. She will always be near … watching …and Bill don’t tell her you were talking with me on those late nights … she’ll know the difference~

Mary can dance now in heaven with all her cohorts the Voglers, the Trentons, the Faheys, and all the Ohio Valley crew.

Who could forget the bicycles built for 2 that Jack always kept in his garage next to his very sporty car. Those days in Moundsville are forever in my memory thank you all. God bless the McKee family and all those descendants who come after.

Barb and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to Bill, Barb, Mary Ellen, and David. I remember taking our mom down to your mom’s room at Good Shepherd for those short visits a few years ago and hearing them talk about all the dances and things that our parents did together when they were younger. Those memories are priceless!

I am sorry for your loss. As Mary Ellen knows, Mary was one of the kindergarten aides at Glen Dale in the 1970s and Jack worked on the railroad with my dad. May the perpetual light shine upon her.
