Mary Elizabeth Soltesz

Mary Elizabeth (Hall) Soltesz, 96, of Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at her home.

Mary was born October 9, 1922, in Marshall County, WV, a daughter of the late Theodore and Nettie (Davis) Hall. She was retired from the former Cook-White Labs, Wheeling.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Soltesz; a son, Frank P. Soltesz; a daughter, Shirley Soltesz; a granddaughter, Lisa Pelkey; three sisters, Martha Hall, Annie Cumberlidge and Ruth Bates; and four brothers, Alex, Walter, Ace and Frank Hall.

Mary is survived by her son, Paul R. Soltesz of Wheeling; two sisters, Betty Patroski of Lansing, OH and Shirley Stolinsky of Wheeling; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Freinds will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Wednesday, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where funeral services will be held at 10 am, Thursday. March 14, 2019. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
