Together Again

Mary Lucille Mulroy, 96, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019.

Mary was born June 15, 1922, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late August and Regina (Altmeyer) Marquart.

She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1940, and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church for 65 years.  She was also past president of the Christian Mothers and Parent Teachers, and was a former member of the RCIA team.  She retired from Reichart Furniture Co., and was also a homemaker, seamstress, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Mulroy; a son, Raymond M. Mulroy; a daughter, Mary Regina Rigby; a sister, Marcella Bartsch; and a brother, Louis Marquart.  She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Marquart of Wheeling; a son, Jim (Theresa) Mulroy of Grayslake, IL; a son-in-law, Don (Kathy) Rigby of Wheeling; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Abigail (Angus) Shiach, Adam Mulroy, Michael Mulroy and Patrick (Renae) Mulroy.

Friends will be received from 5-8 pm, Monday, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Corpus Christi Church, with the Rev. Paul M., as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
